About Me

April FinnenI speak both business and science. For 10 years, I led the Communications department for a biopharmaceutical company in Frederick, Maryland. Now, I'm supporting development and availability of medical countermeasures against very scary diseases full-time at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

On a personal level, I'm interested in food and nutrition, particularly healthy eating and community supported agriculture (CSA). I wrote content and produced weekly newsletters for the largest CSA in Frederick County, Maryland for three years, totaling more than 70 editions. I also wrote regular food section features for a local news site.
